X Minus One - Colony (#70)
10/10/56, episode 70 This episode provided by the Old Time Radio Researchers Group www.otrr.org Here's a story that is a cross between "Terminator II" and John Carpenter's version of "The Thing". A planet is found to be habitable, but this proves to be too good to be true. Inanimate objects on the spaceship begin to come to life. Like the movies I just mentioned, this would be interesting on the big screen (especially the scene where everyone takes off their clothes to be sure what they're wearing isn't an alien). (from "The Critical X Minus One" by Jim Fanisher) Credits (Goldin): Alan Bergman, William Quinn, Fredericka Chandler, James Stevens, John Larkin, Larry Robinson, Norman Rose, Phillip K. Dick (author), Ernest Kinoy (adaptor), William Welch (producer), Daniel Sutter (director), Fred Collins (announcer)
