The children left behind by Trump's ice raids on their parents

In recent months the Trump administration has attempted to recalibrate its approach to immigration, changing the leadership and softening the rhetoric. All in the wake of the killing of two Americans by ICE agents in Minneapolis. Thousands of children who, having been born in the US are citizens themselves, have had their parents arrested and detained by authorities. We spoke to families who have been separated in Texas. Since the filming of that report Patricia was able to arrange for Nicole to be reunited with her parents in Guatemala. Like so many children whose undocumented parents have been deported, she is a US citizen who will now have to re-adjust to life in a country she has not known.
