Wadia 16 now fixed. Sadly, other than service, Sony KSS-151A which was dead had to be replaced

This is second unit I managed to secure. It had 3 faults: display was pushed in was overdue for service (belt replacement only as it turned out) deal laser head - replacement unit sourced from professional player was fitted. As I have found out, different loaders have different heads and transplant was not as easy as I hoped for. Magnetic rails had to be stripped and transferred, because they had different lengths between the two units. Also, the head would not travel smoothly in the 16, so some fine adjustments had to be made. Works great now. Just to remind everyone, this is a unit with digital inputs as well as outputs, so it can be used as a DAC and has 4 x Burr-Brown PCM-1702, laser trimmed, resistor ladder DACs and DigiMaster Wadia Signal Processing. Mechanically, it is practically Esoteric P-700 transport with VRDS CD clamping bridge.
