Solo Backpacking in the High Sierra (1 Night) | Hiking a Burnt Forest | Dropping my Phone in a Lake

Was very tempted to name this video "Watching Shrek in the Backcountry". What does one do solo backpacking for 1 night in the Sierra Nevada? Well, I hiked through the Caldor burn scar to an alpine lake, had a potential run-in with a mountain lion or bobcat (still not sure what it was), watched Shrek, and dropped (but saved!) my phone & navigation in the lake. A big reminder to leave no trace & always check current fire restrictions before heading outdoors!
