This place, formerly known as ‘Deoksan-teo,’ is where Choi Il-soon’s ancestors have lived for generations. That time span spans a staggering 300 years, and the house holds a history of 70 years. The mud house is a double-house, a unique dwelling form of cold regions, a traditional Gangwon-do style farmhouse that incorporates a cowshed within the kitchen.
