📍This time, we explored the area from Miyamae Shopping Street to the area around Togoshi-Koen Station. Following our previous visit to Togoshi Ginza Shopping Street, we strolled through Miyamae Shopping Street, which leads to Togoshi-Koen Station. While perhaps not as famous as Togoshi Ginza, this area still retains many traditional independent shops and businesses deeply rooted in the community. At the same time, new shops such as antique shops, used bookstores, and cafes are increasing, creating an impressive streetscape where the past and present blend naturally. From Miyamae Shopping Street, we walked along Togoshi Park Street and the Togoshi-Koen Station South Exit Shopping Street. As we walked, the names of the shopping streets changed, and the appearance of the town gradually shifted. Along the way, we stopped at "Okashi Tsukasa Koshiji," a traditional Japanese confectionery shop associated with Hebi-kubo, and enjoyed some dango and dorayaki. On a later return visit, we were able to enjoy their famous hebiman and anmitsu.
