As a result of information request, a finally released video of the Auckland Light Rail we could have had. This video dates from 2018, when Auckland Transport's project was about to start construction. Unfortunately, the then-government got distracted by an offer from the NZ SuperFund, followed by bad advice from officials to push for a metro-style tunnelled solution that proved unaffordable and unbuildable?
