How to tie a Bowline knot for rock climbing anchoring
Bowline knots are useful for wrapping natural anchors outside (rocks, trees, pinches between rocks). One of the best benefits of the bowline knot is the ability to tie the knot anywhere in the rope after wrapping an object. Once the bowline knot is mastered, it is the most time efficient knot for wrapping natural anchors outdoors. This video demonstrates two methods for tying the bowline. Don't forget to back up your bowline with a double overhand!
