Uma festa em Nossa Casa foi inicialmente flmado numa película de 8mm em 1963 e mostra uma festa de crianças na nossa casa de Nova Lisboa em Angola. O video vai interessar sobretudo aqueles que poderiam ter participado há uns 50 anos atrás, ou que poderiam conhecer alguém que poderia ter participado. A qualidade do video não é muito boa principalmente porque não foi bem filmado inicialmente. Mas eu considero que o filme tem valor por ser bastante antigo. Assim, peço desculpa pela mã qualidade, e um pouco de paciência! Estávamos no início da era do twist; então, no film há pessoas que dançam o twist. Para aqueles que querem saber quem aparece na película, eu me lembro de alguns nomes, mas a maioria, eu não me lembro. Assim espero que alguns dos visitantes poderão nos informar. Daqueles que eu posso identificar estão lá o Doutor Gago da Silva; as irmãs Joana e Teresa Cunha, a Maria João Sampaio Nunes, e o Pedro e a Isabel Nozolino. Também estão os meus pais, minha irmã e meus irmãos, e eu. ----------------- A children's party in our home This video is a home movie shot on 8mm film in 1963 and shows a kids party at our home in Nova Lisboa, Angola. It is intended mostly for people who may have been there nearly 50 years ago, or who know people who may have been there. The quality is rather poor not so much because the picture was digitized (this was done using state-of-the-art equipment), but mostly because it was not well shot to begin with. However, I consider this to be rare footage and that's why it's here; so, please bear with me! It was the beginning of the twist era so there are people twisting. For those who want to know who appears in the film, I know some names, but the majority I don't remember and I'm hoping that some of my viewers will be able to tell us. Of those that I was able to identify there is Dr. Gago da Silva; the Cunha sisters, Joana and Teresa, Maria João Sampaio Nunes, and Pedro and Isabel Nozolino, and, of course, my parents, my brothers and sister and me.
