Primera participación en marcha cicloturista Ruta de la Conserva

Our first participation in a cyclist tour of road cycling, in the Ruta de la Conservacion XXXI in Molina de Segura (Murcia). The community of Biker Community MTB Alonsojpd, Paquito206, Patricia Carmona, Patricia Montero and Pedro participated in this march, many for the first time on a road bike. We show you the initial preparation: collection of numbers, content of the bag of the runner, departure of all participants and the development of the march. Some of us make the most of the trip outside the peloton shelter, almost from the start, as they are not accustomed to riding in a peloton. In the free section of ascent to Fuente Caputa we were off the hook and we managed to reach the first refreshment station. Just after leaving this food service we go back down and we do the steep slope of the reservoir of Alfonso X el Sabio also off-hook, arriving at the second refreshment station in Cieza. The community Patricia Carmona, in a desperate attempt to get to the peloton, after being cut into a fan, has to be pushed by our friend Nico, but this takes its toll and he no longer manages to recover sensations. The chicken bites him, he suffers a bird, he is hit hard by the guy in the mallet and goes to the wheel, holding and hanging down, until he reaches Cieza and the second refreshment station. We replenish our strength and we are encouraged to take refuge in the peloton. But when leaving Cieza to the community Alonsojpd the DNI falls to him when putting the hand in the pocket of the jersey to take a handkerchief, the Patricia community to take it and they are left hanging from the group again. They make another desperate attempt to get to the squad, at the height of Abarán the ambulances pass and they almost get it, but they get lost in a round and take the wrong exit, another few seconds of loss that are fatal. Always pushing the pace and always alone finish the route of the Preserve, accompanied by our friend Capoto who was making way in the round and traffic lights. They arrive at the finish line about 10 minutes from the peloton, having done much of the soloing. We eat and regain strength, we recorded some of the prizes given: to the youngest female cyclist, the community Patricia Montero, the veteran and veteran cyclist and the oldest and heaviest bicycle, the most vintage, the Camuant of the community Paquito206. We recorded the impressions and opinions of this cyclotourist march and our first participation in a competition of this type.
