VW T6 1 Service Done at Home – What I Changed & What It Cost Me

A few weeks ago I decided my VW T6.1 was long overdue a service, so I tackled it myself. In this video I go through what I changed, the parts I used, how much it cost, and a few tips I learned along the way — including a simple way to avoid airlocks when changing the fuel filter. I didn’t film the full service at the time (it was freezing), but this is a post-service walkthrough showing: • Oil & oil filter• Fuel filter (and how to prime it properly)• Cabin filter location• Air filter• Access tips under the engine bay If you’re thinking of servicing your own VW T6 or T6.1, hopefully this helps you save some money and avoid common mistakes. 🔧 VW Transporter T6.1💷 DIY servicing🚐 Van ownership & maintenance Thank you for watching one of our many adventures in our camper van.
