Take a bus to the Stoosbahn stop; the yellow building you see is the cable car station! Take the unique roller-type cogwheel cable car, currently the steepest cogwheel cable car in the world, to the village of #Stoos. Walk a gentle slope and take a chairlift up to #Klingenstock (1935m). From there, begin your hike to #Fronalpstock (1921m). You can take two chairlifts back down to Stoos village. The #StoosRidgeHike is a famous panoramic hiking route in central Switzerland, from Klingenstock to Fronalpstock, approximately 4.7 kilometers long and taking about 2 hours. Along the way, you can enjoy panoramic views of #LakeLucerne, more than ten other lakes, and the Alps. Stretching along the mountain ridgeline, the scenery is magnificent, with alpine flowers and herds of cattle, and it's hailed as one of Switzerland's most beautiful hiking trails. Stoos is a bit far from Lucerne, requiring time for train and bus transfers, and it's not as well-known as Mount Rigi or Mount Titlis near Lucerne. However, this world-famous ridgeline hiking trail is still worth the long journey.
