The Goal: To clean up and bash as much trash out of the beach as possible so that visitors could enjoy a clean and inviting beach along the shores of Lake Michigan. This event is a great way for metal detectorists to give back to the community by showing them that we aren't just out there "looting" lost treasures, but that we actually care about the environment and always do our part to leave areas cleaner and better than when we got there. It was a great event and we removed 17lbs of trash from the beach. A special thank you to Grave Digger Tools for helping provide our volunteers with some amazing giveaways!
