This CAS Assessor training provides Sacramento Continuum of Care (CoC) providers with a clear understanding of the Survivor Coordinated Access System (SCAS) and the federal protections offered under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). Participants learn how SCAS works, who is eligible to participate, and the vital role of community advocates in supporting survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
