Sensitive facial skin - rosacea and the skin barrier
Rosacea is a common inflammatory skin condition characterised by dilated blood vessels and papulopustules. However, it is not commonly known that the skin barrier plays a very important part in the pathogenesis of this entity. Management of the sensitive facial skin is therefore as important as using anti-inflammatory topical and systemic agents.
