In this video, we put the Ooni Halo Pro Spiral Mixer to the test with a classic Viennese biscuit recipe. We cover: ✔️ Full Viennese biscuit recipe (simple ingredients) ✔️ Using the Ooni Halo mixer with soft dough ✔️ Creaming butter and sugar with the geared whisk ✔️ Piping, baking, and final taste test This Recipe Makes 8 Covered Viennese Biscuits Ingredients: For the Biscuits: 340g softened unsalted butter or margarine 170g caster sugar or icing sugar 5g vanilla extract 340g plain flour For the Chocolate Fudge Filling: 368g baker’s fondant 80g dark chocolate drops For the Coating: Bar of milk chocolate (chopped) Method: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Add the softened butter, sugar, and vanilla extract to the bowl of a stand mixer with 3-speed settings. Beat on medium speed until light and fluffy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl, add half of the flour, and mix for 5 minutes until well combined. Scrape down again, add the remaining flour, and continue mixing for another 5 minutes until the mixture is light and smooth. Prepare a piping bag fitted with a medium star nozzle. Spoon the dough into the piping bag and pipe 4-inch (10 cm) long fingers onto a lined baking tray. Bake on the middle shelf of the preheated oven for 10–15 minutes, or until pale golden. Remove from the oven and allow the biscuits to cool on the tray for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and let them cool completely. To Make the Chocolate Fudge Filling: 10. Place the baker’s fondant and dark chocolate drops in a heatproof bowl. 11. Microwave on a low setting until melted, stirring occasionally until smooth. 12. Spread the chocolate fudge on the flat side of one biscuit, then sandwich it with another. Let set for 5 minutes. To Dip in Chocolate: 13. Melt the chopped milk chocolate in a heatproof bowl using either a microwave (low power) or over a pan of gently simmering water (bain-marie). Stir until smooth. 14. Dip one end of each sandwiched biscuit into the melted chocolate. Place on parchment paper and allow to set completely. bakers fondant link:    • Confectionery Fondant How to Make Recipe D...   Ooni Halo Mixer, Ooni mixer biscuit test, Viennese biscuits with spiral mixer, butter cookie dough Ooni, baking with Ooni Halo Pro, how to make Viennese whirls, soft dough mixer review, Ooni mixer attachments, biscuit recipe for spiral mixer, easy cookie dough mixing @Oonihq If you're wondering how versatile the Ooni Halo Pro really is beyond pizza dough, this video shows how well it performs with delicate, buttery biscuit dough.
