Handbuilding Small Rectangular Platters or Plates From a Plastic Tray 02.03.26

Hello Pottery Friends. Below are the links for the tray I used and the larger square one I also talked about. Clear Rectangular Tray -- https://amzn.to/4tgYHhS Black Square Tray -- https://amzn.to/3NX86es After I completed the trays, I covered them with plastic and laid a heavy weight in the center of the plate to keep it from warping as it dried. After two days, I'll take it out of the plastic tray and set it on the shelf to be bisque fired to cone 04. I will still lightly drape a piece of plastic over the tray with a weight in the center to slow down the drying time. With the furnace running constantly in the winter, and how dry the air is, I don't want it drying too quickly.
