Domenico Scarlatti - Sonata K. 466 (Adam Cicchillitti, guitar)

This is my arrangement of Sonata K. 466 by Domenico Scarlatti. It is originally in F-minor, so this version could be played with a capo on the first fret to match the original key, but I liked the intonation and sound of it in E-minor so I elected to transcribe it down a semitone. It is a challenging piece on guitar because of the constant 3 against 2 pattern between treble and bass. I absolutely love the soaring melodies and the way Scarlatti treats the harmonies and counterpoint, so this piece has made it's way into my regular concert programs. I hope you enjoy this wonderful piece by the great Italian Baroque master! Audio/video Drew Henderson Guitar by Sergei de Jonge Augustine Paragon Strings https://www.adamcicchillitti.com/vide...
