Naturehike Cloud Peak 2 at Kingsdown Camping, £150 Tent in 50mph Winds

I headed down to Kingsdown Camping on the south coast of Kent to test the Naturehike Cloud Peak 2 in some proper coastal weather. This is a tent I bought because, on paper, it has a lot of features I loved from my old Hilleberg, outer-first pitching, strong pole structure, good ventilation, large vestibules, proper guyline points and a four-season style design, but at a fraction of the price. The weather gave it a proper test, with heavy rain, rough coastal wind and gusts that felt around 50mph at times. I also got to check out Kingsdown Camping itself, which turned out to be one of the most stunning campsites I’ve stayed at, with sea views, clean facilities, friendly staff and a private walkway down towards the beach. Not exactly wild camping this time, but a brilliant place to test gear before heading further into the wild. ⛺ SUPPORT THE CHANNEL If you'd like to help me create more wild camping adventures, you can support the channel here: Patreon →   / beardinthewild   🛒 GEAR I USE Naturehike Cloud Peak 2 Tent: https://amzn.to/4e9GVX8 OutIn Mino Portable Espresso Machine: https://outin.com/products/mino-porta...
