ACT Pyrenees June 2026 Kove 800x Pro

A few clips in chronological order from hours of footage from my recent solo trip to France, Andorra and Spain. This was only the second time I have ridden my Kove 800x Pro off road and the first time with full luggage including camping gear. The bike was fantastic in every way and justified my decision to sell my Fantic Caballero 500 Rally in search of a long distance middleweight TET bike that can make ground fast and tackle off road. I travelled from Newhaven to Dieppe and took some motorways through France to save time doing some TET on sections 25 and 12 on the way (see linked video coming soon). I then joined the ACT via the French TET section 12 crossing the border into Spain which was quite challenging. The rest of the video is all ACT, 5 days, riding East to West following the spectacular route which comprises of a mixture of fantastic empty mountain roads and gravel tracks through the forests and in the mountains. The ACT website is generous with the amount of off road. I would say that this is only 30% off road however the on road sections were just as enjoyable as the off road sections with a lot of fast flowing roads with no traffic and good road surface. ACT have got the formula just right for larger bikes in my opinion. On the second day of the route I made friends with another solo rider from Spain and we rode together on the route for the next 4 days and made more friends on the same adventure. We stayed at campsites that were cheap and all had restaurants. For anyone considering taking this challenge, my advice would be go for it. The route is absolutely spectacular and suitable for larger bikes. Even if on your own you are likely to bump into other riders going the same way and perhaps make friends for life.
