Our Spiti Valley adventure continues as we leave the breathtaking Khab Sangam and make our way towards the beautiful Himalayan village of Nako. Perched high in the mountains, Nako welcomed us with its peaceful atmosphere, traditional mud houses, and timeless charm. We wandered through the quiet lanes of this ancient village, soaking in its unique culture and stunning views. One of the highlights of the day was visiting the centuries-old Nako Monastery, a place filled with history, spirituality, and incredible Himalayan architecture. We then spent some peaceful moments at the crystal-clear Nako Lake, surrounded by majestic mountains—a perfect place to slow down and enjoy the beauty of Spiti. As the sun began to set, we checked into the warm and welcoming homestay of Sonam Ji. More than just a place to stay, it truly felt like home. The love, hospitality, and delicious home-cooked food made us feel like part of the family, ending another unforgettable day on our Spiti journey.
