Why Didn't I Think Of This Before | Show jumping vlog

Time for a training update with Jam! 🏇 In today’s video, I take you along to a showjumping arena hire session where I focus on getting Jam feeling confident and tuned up ahead of her first event back after injury. (Don’t panic if you’re following the vlogs closely—yes, this is slightly out of order, but it was such a positive session that I really wanted to share it with you now!) More importantly than how we jumped, this session felt like a real turning point for my mindset. I worked hard on applying a different approach to my riding— the main thing being that I removed the pressure of getting it perfect—and Jam felt the best she has in a long time. It’s a reminder that our headspace is just as important as our skill when it comes to our horse’s way of going.
