Bernadette - “A Media Luz (In Half Light)” for accordion

“A Media Luz” tango was written by Edgardo Donato in 1925. It is an intriguing example of the romantic tango that retains a hint of the tango’s old transgressive character. The recording by Carlos Gardel made this tango famous all over the world. This is one of my favorite tangos with its contrasting major section and more dramatic minor interlude.This tango describes a dimly lit room at twilight with a table set for two and a promising evening ahead.
