Circle Memory Part 1- Labrador Retriever Training
Keeping a finished gundog on top of their game requires maintenance drills. These drills can all be incorporated into a circle memory. Vary the types of retrieves and amount of handling required to simulate the different scenarios that may take place during a hunt. Whatever you have planned for your retriever, make sure they meet those expectations. If not, don't hesitate to start over to make sure they perform as expected and reinforce the concepts learned along the way in your retriever training . In the first part of this circle memory, the retrievers will encounter an obstacle between them and the dummy. They will then simply have a long retrieve that is all about lining and no handling will be required. For more information on Brookstone Kennels Performance Gundogs -
