Bhadraj Temple Trek: The Empty Side Of Mussoorie

While Mall Road sits in kilometre-long jams, this trail on Mussoorie's western edge stays almost empty. It's the old Milkman's Trail — the path Dudhli village used every morning to carry buffalo milk into Mussoorie — running through oak and deodar forest, past the junction for George Everest's house (yes, THAT Everest), through Dudhli, and up a final steep ridge to Bhadraj Temple, dedicated to Lord Balram, elder brother of Shri Krishna.
