V14E2: Sixty Miles from Pavement
Adventure is afoot! This episode kicks off in the Jeep, exploring the backcountry of northern Arizona. I spend the evening overlooking the Grand Canyon as a storm passes through the area at dusk. Orangie, now with 190,000 miles on the odometer, starts showing its age. I continue north into Utah, and sprawling canyons are replaced by sandy tracks, white cliffs, and red rock formations. A muddy wash thwarts forward progress. Shannon, Finegan, and I settle into Kanab, Utah, where we go on a pizza date.
