VAN HELSING (PS2) | THE BRIDES OF DRACULA | Retro Playthrough Ep. 2

Vampires! Brides! Explosions! Oh MY! In the year of our Lord, 1887, legendary monster hunter Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) arrives in Transylvania to confront the most feared creature in existence: Count Dracula. Armed with holy relics, experimental weapons, and little knowledge of his own forgotten past, Helsing joins forces with Anna Valerious (Kate Beckinsale), the last descendant of a family sworn to destroy Dracula. Their hunt quickly turns deadly. While pursuing Dracula through the forests and villages surrounding Castle Dracula, Helsing and Anna are ambushed by the Count's three vampiric brides — Verona, Aleera, and Marishka. Beautiful, cruel, and utterly devoted to their master, the women descend from the night sky like predators, turning the hunt into a frantic battle for survival. Outnumbered and overwhelmed, Helsing is forced to fight all three at once as they slash, dive, and taunt him through the darkness, while Anna desperately struggles to hold them back. But Dracula's plans reach far beyond simple murder. Deep within an ancient laboratory, the Count's twisted servant Igor works tirelessly to bring Dracula's monstrous offspring to life. As lightning crashes overhead and machinery roars, Helsing storms the laboratory in a desperate attempt to stop the experiment. What follows is a chaotic and explosive battle through collapsing catwalks, raging fires, and crackling electrical equipment. Igor fights with desperate ferocity, protecting his master's dream as the entire laboratory erupts around them. By the battle's end, flames consume the facility, Dracula's breeding program lies in ruins, and Igor meets a fiery fate of his own. Yet even this victory changes nothing. For Dracula still lives, and the truth behind Van Helsing's forgotten identity grows ever closer. As ancient secrets emerge and old enemies reveal themselves, Helsing realizes that defeating Dracula may require more than silver, faith, or strength. It may require uncovering the man he once was.
