Nieuwkoop Zuidplas Strandzomer De Meije

De Meije or Meije is an elongated ribbon village in the Dutch Green Heart, along the eponymous small river, the Meije. The western end is not far from Zwammerdam and Bodegraven. Other neighboring places are Zegveld, Woerdense Verlaat, and Nieuwkoop. De Meije has approximately 400 inhabitants, distributed across three municipalities (Bodegraven-Reeuwijk, Woerden, and Nieuwkoop) and two provinces (South Holland and Utrecht). The part belonging to Woerden is called Stichtse Meije or Zegveldse Meije.
