"Come to the Fair" (A 1980 film by Syd Pearman)
. Ever wondered what's involved in setting up a travelling fair? When we filmed this back in the 1980's , it was quite an eye opener just how hard the rides and stall holders worked to get the show on the road. In making this film it was a pleasure to meet many very nice people who make a travelling fair like this work. It would be nice to hear if you recognise anyone at this fair in Blaby, Leicester 1980, It was shot on 16mm film. Filmed on 16mm film. Commentary - John Coles
