November 1969: When Freddie King Came To London - A Short Film

A short film by Mississippi MacDonald featuring Dennis Roberts, telling the story of when one of the great Kings of the blues came to south east London. The film features a rare live recording of Freddie King at the Black Prince, Bexley in November 1969. Dennis' shares his personal recollections of time spent with Freddie King as his road manager, and those of watching the British and American heroes of the blues live in the heart of the Thames delta.
