Recently, Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche had the fortunate opportunity to visit His Holiness the Dalai Lama and offer him the gift of his dharmic activities throughout the world for the realization of His Holiness’s intentions, accompanying him with the gift of a unique statue of Buddha Shakyamuni. With a perfectly pure intention, Rinpoche asked His Holiness to live long. Rinpoche also asked His Holiness to bless Rinpoche’s tireless dharmic activities for the benefit of all beings, including the establishment of a Buddhist university in Austria. His Holiness accepted this precious gift and the request for longevity. “Today I met the noble Avalokiteshvara in human form. He is the embodiment of the body, speech, and mind of Buddha Shakyamuni. He is a precious thing that holds a central place in the heart of every person in the snowy lands of Tibet, and he is also a treasure for everyone who inhabits the modern world. I have just seen his face, heard his voice, and I feel incredibly happy.”
