New York Knicks Championship Parade: Party at Church & Fulton Streets

The Knicks are your 2026 NBA Champions. I waited my entire life for this parade. I postponed a trip abroad so I could attend. I scouted the parade route the night before. Slept for a total of three hours. Arrived 4 hours before the parade's scheduled start time. Stood in a sea of people for 6 hours. Skirmished with the NYPD. And I still couldn't see a damn thing of the parade. Was it worth it? Hell yes. I’ve experienced only a handful of events that truly bring every person in New York City together. Acts of terror, catastrophic acts of nature, citywide blackouts. Even those had a social divide. Now, not only can I add a Knicks Championship to that list, but it may be the single most all-encompassing moment of unity in the city’s modern history.
