Odc. 16 - Zatłoczony grecki port Hydra i zaciszna zatoka Mandraki

In this episode, we're on the island of Hydra. This is one of the most interesting places in Greece and we already showed it in episode 10. Now we are here again. Hydra Island is famous for being car-free. The silence that can be experienced without the roaring car and motor engines is extraordinary. In the 18th century, the island of Hydra began to develop intensively. Rich merchants and captains settled here. After them, beautiful mansions remained in the city. Most of them today are museums and galleries. In the town itself, there are plenty of pubs and boutiques selling items made by local artists. The port town of Hydra is beautiful, well-kept and elegant. It is impressive, which is why many tourists come here and many sailors come here. Therefore, it is difficult to moor in the port. So we anchored in Mandraki Bay. It's about 2 km from the city. It was crowded there too, but there was a place for us. We all moored on long lines. Mandraki Bay is a quiet and charming place. There is a beach, a tavern and a chapel. And you can reach the port and the city along the stunning coastal road. We show all of this in this episode. You will see Mandraki Bay, Hydra Harbor and the city itself with its bustling atmosphere. Enjoy!
