Bid, Price Drop, Speed Auction tv breakdown 07 April 2011
A power cut in Acton, London at about 3pm sent the three channels into chaos, all three channels were put in breakdown mode for hours. Bid was the first back at about 4.30 with all three channels showing the Bid feed but they had no graphics so spent ten minutes product previewing before it went off air again at 5pm Price Drop returned with dodgy graphics and the tv screens going haywire and James Gardner looking like he was about to drop to the ground at any minute with the chaos. (see another vid for this) Bid returned at 5pm with no sound and the bosses desparate to make some kind of sale made Steve MacDonald sell a camera with no sound or proper graphics eventually after this sale they gave up and went back to the breakdown graphic. Speed Auction returned at 5,50 with Simon Davies claiming he was thrown back on to make a sale the screen was the wrong colour the back screens kept crashing as did the graphics and the poor bloke look flushed. Bid tv fed from Price Drop between 6 and 7 until things went back to normal about 7pm
