Inside One of the Oldest Tattoo Shops in the World (100 Years of History)

In this video, we toured Outer Limits Tattoo, one of the oldest tattoo shops in the world and one of the most historic tattoo locations still around today. During the tour, one of the employees walked us through the shop and showed us some of the history inside the building. Outer Limits has a small museum section filled with old tattoo memorabilia, vintage pieces, and artifacts from the early days of tattooing. One of the craziest things still inside the shop is an original tub of Vaseline sitting in one of the corners. They also showed us a safe that the new owners discovered while tearing down a wall — and it looks like it may have belonged to the original owners of the shop. The plan is to open the safe next year for their 100-year anniversary, which makes the whole thing even more interesting. This was more than just a shop tour. It felt like walking through a piece of tattoo history.
