Stillness Project | Sunrise at El Mirage Dry Salt Lake Bed with Leica M-A
Continuing our personal project of watching the sun rise in different areas, we made our way to El Mirage's dry salt lake bed. The Stillness Project is something that was created during the COVID-19 pandemic. Once a week, we grab our cameras to catch the sunrise, not only to experience the stillness, but encourage people to keep on and hold on. There are so many updates throughout the day with what's going on in the world. In times of uncertainty and moments that can be filled with anxiety, we choose to hold close to nature and honor the things that are unchanging like the sun rising and spreading its light each morning. We find so much peace within the stillness and love sharing what these mornings look like through our lens. Film photographs shot on Leica M-A Digital photographs shot on Leica M10
