With the "Drive-E" strategy announced in 2014, #VOLVO consolidated its main powertrains into a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, achieving significant parts standardization. The large-bodied #XC90 lineup includes the #T5 gasoline turbo, the #T6 with a supercharger, and the #D5 diesel engine. #Volvo has also declared that from 2019 onwards, all new models will incorporate electric devices into the power unit, demonstrating its commitment to reducing environmental impact. The XC90 first introduced the #T8 #TwinEngine gasoline engine with a plug-in hybrid system in early 2020, and has now introduced the #B5 48V #mild-hybrid model.
