For this test Big Stoozer fitted the Pikaboost 2 to his well used Marin Pine Mountain Rigid XXL fatty mountain bike. This old bike has seen plenty of miles over the years, so it was the perfect candidate to see if the conversion kit could breathe some new life into it. #LIVALL #LIVALL PikaBoost 2 Powerful Edition #LIVALL PikaBoost 2 eBike Conversion Kit Powerful Edition We headed to Loch Leven in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, for a 13 mile gravel ride around the loch to really put the Pikaboost 2 through its paces. Using a combination of Standard Assist and Powerful Assist modes, Big Stoozer quickly discovered just how much performance this compact conversion kit can deliver. The results were surprising. The Pikaboost 2 completely revitalised the old Marin and had Big Stoozer flying along the gravel trails. Meanwhile Rooty, riding his Specialized Turbo Levo EMTB, found it surprisingly difficult to keep up with Big Stoozer for much of the ride. By the time the loop around Loch Leven was complete, Big Stoozer was genuinely blown away by the performance of the Pikaboost 2. Even after the full 13 mile ride there was still over 50 percent battery remaining, showing just how efficient this conversion kit can be. If you have an old bike sitting in the shed and have been thinking about turning it into an eBike, this test ride might surprise you.
