Having developed a love for basketball at a very young age, Phil had set his sights on turning pro and becoming the next NBA success story. Unfortunately for him however, that didn't pan out. But when one door closes...another one opens, and the door of bodybuilding and all of what it had to offer, was opened to Phil in 2002. From then on he committed to chasing greatness and cementing his name as one of the greats in bodybuilding. In that process he not only killed a lot of dreams but created just as many nightmares. Behind the intimidating gaze, the posing oil, and the 7 titles is a man who wanted to be great more than he wanted breathe, and there was nothing that would stop him from achieving that greatness.
