We wanted to visit the Olympic National Park, but there was one huge problem. So, we hit the road to explore the Olympic Peninsula, one of the most beautiful and underrated regions in the Pacific Northwest. From Olympic National Park to the wild beaches of Washington’s coast, this road trip took us through some of the most dramatic landscapes we’ve ever seen. We hiked through misty forests, camped in the rain, and stood on the edge of the Pacific at Ruby Beach and Cape Flattery. We explored Port Angeles, Forks, and Lake Crescent, and tackled the climb up Storm King.
