“Christians must not judge!” – You’ve probably heard this before. But did Jesus really say in Matthew 7 that we must not judge ANYONE? Or did he mean something completely different? In this short video, we’ll take a close look at what Jesus is really saying in Matthew 7:1–5. We’ll discover: why “Do not judge, or you too will be judged” is so often misused what the difference is between hypocritical judgment and biblical discernment why the Bible even encourages us to judge – but in the right way how we can confront sin in love without becoming proud, harsh, or judgmental how verses like John 7:24, Ephesians 4:15, Galatians 6:1, and 1 Corinthians 5–6 relate to Matthew 7 Jesus doesn’t forbid all judgment. He condemns hypocrisy: When we ignore the "beam" in our own eye but see the "splinter" in others. He calls us to humility, love, and clear discernment.
