Candy XPT - part 1

To commemorate the return of the Sydney to Grafton service on 28/4/26, a 6-car XPT set powered by XP2006 (City of Grafton) and XP2009 (City of Sydney), was repainted and wrapped in the original 1980’s State Rail Authority candy livery. Captured in this video (in order) is HT34 arriving on to platform 1 at Sydney Terminal from the Meeks Road service centre on 28/4/26. Then, the first renewed NT35 service is captured approaching and departing from Strathfield Station. The following day, the returning NT36 service is captured arriving on to platform 5 and Sydney Terminal before heading back to the service centre as HT37. On 30/94/26, ST24 is captured on its way north from Melbourne pulling into Yass Junction Station before continuing its journey towards Sydney.
