There was a Japanese staff member in the lounge. I was surprised to see the front desk staff explaining things. Since she was also working, it might be a good idea to ask for help if you have any issues with not being able to speak Japanese at the front desk. It was a nice hotel with pleasant service, but there were a few issues that bothered me. ① One of the two toothpaste bottles in the room was half-empty. (Probably due to the rushed cleaning.) ② There were two tea bags in each room, but only one coffee bag (I felt they forgot to refill it). ③ I could hear the conversations next door, and I could clearly understand what they were saying. The walls were thinner than I expected. (I was woken up loudly at 1:30 AM, and apparently they left the room at 3 AM to check out, but I still couldn't sleep.) I'm sure the front desk would be able to help, but calling in the middle of the night was a hassle. I always stay at different hotels, enjoying a variety of different levels. While excellent service and facilities are appreciated, the cleanliness and comfort of the room are paramount. For this level of quality, I honestly won't be returning...
