Session 5- Fall into the mystery!

The mystery of the "Interim King" campaign deepens as the gang arrives in Northpass and begins a high-stakes investigation. After being tasked by Lieutenant Goldwith to quietly look into the disappearances of several local women, the group dives headfirst into detective mode. From tracking strange scents of lavender and vanilla to a daring (and slightly painful) midnight infiltration of the Council Hall, the clues are starting to point toward a powerful and unexpected suspect. In this session: 1) Detective Mode Activated: The gang maps out the disappearances and finds a common link between the victims. 2) The Daring Challenge: Quartz takes on a massive food challenge at the Daring Cook—with explosive results. 3) Lavender & Vanilla: A mysterious scent and a strange religious symbol become the primary leads in the murder investigation. 4) Infiltrating the Council Hall: Tempy pulls off a risky break-in to Councilman Reedfellow’s office, uncovering a hidden folder that reveals a tragic personal history. 5) The Great Fall: Tempy discovers that the "climb" part of being a Bugbear might need some work after a 60-foot plunge from the roof. Was Councilman Reedfellow’s wife involved in something darker, or is he using his power for a desperate resurrection? The investigation continues!
