The Dingle Way - Day 9 - Mount Brandon to Cloghane
We walked from the base of Mount Brandon to Cloghane. It took us 5 hrs 21 minutes to walk 9.5 miles with an elevation gain of 2,283 feet. The climb to the saddle was 3 miles. The weather was fine until we reached 1,500 e.g. it rained quite hard for minute or two and it was very windy at the top. We took a couple of pictures and proceeded down the steep steps. It eventually flattened out and was an enjoyable walk after that with some showers. We were glad to be carrying umbrellas. Our stay in Feohanagh B & B was super nice. The hostess was amazing. Very helpful and her breakfast was delicious. Music from Epidemic Sound June 2022
