The novel is the first in a new police procedural series set in Sheffield and features DS Adam Tyler on his hunt to track down a serial arsonist at the end of a very hot Sheffield summer. It is published by Simon & Schuster in the UK and by G.P. Putnam's Sons (Penguin Random House) in the US.
