First Ride on a Makeover Mustang: Colt Starting Challenge

After the Mustang Makeover I gave Diva some time off before starting her under saddle in only 2.5 hours! She made some great progress, and worked through the initial resistance in a very short amount of time. She had 100 days of groundwork training prior to being started under saddle. I am a student of the horse, learning as I go, and I certainly learned a lot from this experience. I am 17, and I make these videos to help myself to look back and analyze my methods, in order to find places where I can improve, in order to learn, fix mistakes, and make sure I am being as kind but effective as I can so that I can best equip the horses I work with for the skills they need for success in our human world.
