Mall Review #7| Fahrenheit 88 Mall: Another Dying KL Mall?

Fahrenheit 88 mall located in Bukit Bintang, an area with a huge concentration of mall. Can it survive in this harsh retail environment? It was previously known as KL Plaza, but in 2007, was bought over by Pavilion Group, the same Pavilion Group that constructed and manage the high-end Pavilion KL & Pavilion Elite Mall. Intended as a mid-range, hip & trendy boutique mall, it offers a much needed respite from all the similar generic malls that are vying for the same limited footfall. But is it working? Fahrenheit had never been very lively nor dead since its inception. It was like much of an afterthought for people flocking into Bukit Bintang. But has its state deteriorated given the number of newer malls sprouting out like Lalaport and TRX. Today, Fahrenheit 88 still brings a lot of nostalgia for many Malaysians, especially for those who grew up during the turn of the millennium.
