Living in a Parking Lot Down by Tampa Bay | St Pete Downtown

This week I wake up next to a gator-infested lake, sleep in a parking lot down by Tampa Bay, and spend a couple of days soaking up everything I love about downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. Oh, and I make some extra cash while doing it. Come along for the ride! 🐊 GATORS, PIZZA & ST. PETE 🍕 My Harvest Host stop at Your Pizza Shop in Largo put me right next to Taylor Park — where not one but THREE people have had run ins with alligators in the last few years. I walk the park, spot a live gator in the lake, and tell you the whole wild story. From there I head into downtown St. Pete for a couple of nights at The Big Catch at Salt Creek — a waterfront hidden gem right on the harbor — and explain my side hustle and how I make it work. I walk the pier, meet friends, watch some insane cliff diving, grab drinks at Stillwaters Tavern on Beach Drive, and finish the night with a very bold little crab stealing food off someone's napkin. 🦀 This is the life. It's different. It's not for everyone.
