Below the Ice (A Freediving Adventure)
In January of 2021, a group of local Alaskan freedivers hiked 500lbs of gear out to Rabbit Lake to complete the first ever ice dive in the state park. Driven by the passion for diving, they endured frigid arctic temperatures and cut through almost 4ft of ice by hand to get to the water. Official submission for the Anchorage International Film Festival and the Arctic Film Festival.
